DESCRIPTION:  \nDuring training the NMCL trainer will have each potential tutor learn and demonstrate the following: \n\nthe first day of class with their student\nlesson planning\nrecognize learning styles\nhow to approach a low literacy adult learner\nreview tracking progress and monthly reporting\n\n  \nOnce training is complete\, the tutor will receive a certificate of completion and a library card to the ReadWest resource library. Soon after training each tutor will be paired with a one-on-one adult learner. \nLunch is on your own.
