WHAT WE DO

ReadWest, Inc. is a non-profit literacy agency providing one-to-one tutoring by trained volunteers. ReadWest is an Accredited Affiliate of ProLiteracy. Sixteen standards of quality are continually achieved to maintain ProLiteracy accreditation. Since its inception, ReadWest has provided over 4,000 adults with literacy services and is expanding to meet the growing needs of our community. ReadWest has served Bernalillo and Sandoval Counties for 34 years!

OUR VISION

ReadWest believes that the ability to read and write is essential to economic self-sufficiency and personal well-being. ReadWest exists to increase literacy skills for adults as the means of achieving basic survival skills, parenting skills, employability and job skills, citizenship, and further education.

OUR MISSION

ReadWest’s mission is to provide quality in-person or digital one-to-one tutoring and/or
classes to adults seeking to transform their lives through enhanced literacy skills.
